Charles Gray, a United States citizen, is recognized and authorized to officially negotiate with corporations and businesses to facilitate trade, commercial, agricultural and industrial development for the government of Tanzania in cooperation with the government of the United States of America.

The journey began in 1974 when he founded the Nyerere Education Institute (named after the country's founder and late president, H.E. Julius K. Nyerere) in New Brunswick, NJ, and continues to the present time, as his relationship with Tanzania has evolved to include not only educational partnerships, but all areas of the human experience, with emphasis on social and economic development ventures.  

Honorary Consul Gray is accredited in the state of Pennsylvania,. He also has business connections in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, throughout the United States and the world.
